The authors solve the problem for both the normal and abnormal finite nuclei from a simple relativistic model compatible with the experimental knowledge on normal nuclei, and have found critical mass numbers A<sub>1</sub>=85 and A<sub>2</sub>=165. Only nuclei with mass numbers A>or=A<sub>1</sub> may have bound abnormal states and only abnormal nuclei with mass numbers A>or=A<sub>2</sub> have binding energies larger than those of the corresponding normal nuclei.
