The N-path filter is a. frequency selective network with a comb-type characteristic, that is, it is capable of selecting a number of the harmonics of a particular frequency. It is shown how this filter can be classified into odd or even type depending on whether it is capable of selecting the odd only or even only harmonics of a particular frequency.
