Schachter, Carl; Carl Schachter is Professor of Music at Queens College, City University of New York and CUNY Graduate School; he also teaches at the Mannes College of Music. He is the author of numerous publications on music theory and analysis. He has lectured on the relation between analysis and performance, and is working on a book on this subject.
