The structures, NMR spectra and electrochemical properties of the vanadium(III) compounds, cis-[VIIICl2(acac)(bpy)] and [VIII(quin)3]·2CH3OH, formed from [VIVCl2(acac)2]·0.25CH2Cl2 (Hacacâ =â pentane-2,4-dione) and [VIVOCl2(thfâ )2] with bpy and Hquin respectively are described as well as the structure of the catecholate dioxovanadium(V) dimer [Et3NH]2[VO2(μ-dtbc)]2 (H2dtbcâ = 3,5-di-tert-butylcatechol).
