The synthesis and crystal structure of [Zn(10 â x)Cox(PO4)8(HPO4)2](C3N2H12)4(H2O)3 (x â 3.45) (ZCP-THO), which is the first mixed cobalt and zinc phosphate with zeolite THO topology, are described. ZCP-THO is characterized by means of single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction. The structure has a 3-D 8-ring channel system with protonated 1,3-propanediamine cations and water molecules occupying the channel junctions. The structure collapsed after the removal of the organic template by heating.
