The functional integral representation of the Green function of Bloch's equation is employed for the derivation of a generating functional, used to obtain an expansion of the statistical sum of coupled anharmonic oscillators. The analysis basically involves averaging of functional polynomials against an appropriate Gaussian measure. Specific applications of the final results are not treated.
