For pure fourth-order () quantum cosmology, the Wheeler--DeWitt equation is solved exactly for the closed homogeneous and isotropic model. It is shown that by imposing as boundary condition that at the origin of the universe, wavefunctions behave as suggested by Vilenkin. |
