| dc.description | Using Rendall's recent results, we establish topological equivalence as a necessary and sufficient condition for two inner products on a vector space V to be equal up to a constant factor, under the main hypothesis that a given representation of a -algebra on V be a -representation with respect to the two inner products. This hypothesis is motivated by Ashtekar's quantization programme. |
