The gravitational field with the non-Abelian group of motion G<sub>2</sub> II within the Petrov classification is interpreted in terms of the basic elements of the gauge theory with solvable gauge algebra. The field equations have an exact solution in the one-dimensional case and this is a generalization of the Ehlers-Kundt solution.
