Wiggins (1978) proposed the minimum entropy deconvolution (MED) which has become one of the most important deconvolution methods. He gave a varimax norm V and an MED iterative procedure. Later, Chacin presented the kurtosis norm. In this paper, the authors prove the global convergence of the MED iterative procedure with respect to the varimax norm for the single channel and the kurtosis norm for a multichannel. |
