The finite-size scaling behaviour of the O (2) Heisenberg spin model in (D+1) dimensions, D=1 and 2, is computed in the 'low-temperature' region using the stochastic truncation Monte Carlo method. The numerical results so obtained agree very well with effective Lagrangian theory, and with spin-wave perturbation theory. |
