| dc.description | Generalized Hamiltonian systems derived from degenerate Lagrangians are presented as implicit differential equations rather than families of Hamiltonian vector fields restricted to constraint subsets of the phase space. Systems considered are more general than the ones described by Dirac - they are generated by Morse families of functions and not by constrained Hamiltonians. Integrability of such systems is analysed. Examples are given. |
