Аннотация:
The Born-closure Schwinger variational method is applied for the first time to calculate the elastic differential cross sections (DCS) for electron scattering by the open-shell NO molecule in the 5-500 eV range. The comparison with the available experimental data (in the 5-20 eV range) is very encouraging. Above 100 eV, oscillations are observed in calculated DCS and are attributed to diffraction effects.
