| dc.description | The interaction of a pair of coupling two-level atoms with a radiation field is studied. The effects of a dispersion force (dipole-dipole interaction) on the emission spectrum are analysed. It is found that the dipole-dipole interaction induces an asymmetry of the emission spectrum, which is most obvious in a vacuum field. |
