We present a method for evaluating arbitrary higher-order derivatives of the three-denominator Lewis integral frequently encountered in collisional and structural problems of atomic and molecular physics. The method has been applied successfully to obtain analytical expressions for the charge transfer amplitude in proton - hydrogen collisions and the results for total cross sections in Jackson - Schiff (JS) and distorted-wave approximations (DWB) are presented.
