A photoelectric spectrometer has been used to measure relative absorption cross sections in the Sr I spectrum, over the region comprising about twenty-two of the autoionization resonances described in the preceding paper. The results are unfolded by a computer programme into Fano-type or dispersion profiles, and values of `line-profile-indices' and autoionization damping constants are derived. One additional resonance, not recognizable from the photographic spectrum, is reported.
