Critical points for electron-beryllium elastic scattering

To explore the possibility of the existence of critical points for the beryllium atoms the differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of electrons from the Be atom are obtained in the 5-30 eV region. The method of partial waves along with a central potential is employed. In the absence of any other investigation for critical points for the Be atom, the present values are compared with the values obtained by extrapolating the results for other heavier atoms and good agreement has been obtained.
