Photoelectron asymmetry measurements for CFCl<sub>3</sub>, CF<sub>2</sub>Cl<sub>2</sub> and CF<sub>3</sub>Cl in the photon energy range 18-80 eV

Photoelectron asymmetry parameters beta have been measured for ionisations from the valence molecular orbitals of the molecules CFCl<sub>3</sub>, CF<sub>2</sub>Cl<sub>2</sub> using CF<sub>3</sub>Cl using photons in the energy range 18-80 eV. Cooper minima are observed in the beta spectra for ionisation from orbitals with substantial chlorine 3p character. For Cf<sub>2</sub>Cl<sub>2</sub>, three resonances are observed in beta spectra which are tentatively assigned to shape resonances.
