Mossbauer spectra of Fe<sub>2</sub>TiO<sub>5</sub> in the temperature range 4.2 to 80K have been fitted with a model of random distribution of Fe<sup>3+</sup> and Ti<sup>4+</sup> ions in the cation lattice sites. The temperature variation of the components of the fit corroborates the assignment of spin glass behaviour which has recently been reported.
