One-dimensional magnetic correlations in the antiferromagnet CsMnBr<sub>3</sub>

Quasielastic magnetic neutron scattering from the 1D antiferromagnet CsMnBr<sub>3</sub> is reported for the region 9<T<50K. The inverse correlation length can be described by a Heisenberg model with J/k=-9.9(4)K. The high values of J/k and T<sub>N</sub> mask the expected order crossover effect in the inverse correlation length which is in contrast with the observation of this effect in the uniform magnetic susceptibility.
