| dc.description | Mobilities of SF<sub>3</sub><sup>+</sup> and SF<sub>5</sub><sup>+</sup> ions as a function of E/N in SF<sub>6</sub> gas have been obtained by measuring their drift velocities at room temperature using a pulsed ion-transit-time method. The transverse and longitudinal diffusions for both ions were then calculated by using the parameterized three-temperature version of the generalized Einstein relations. |
