An analysis of the modulation of an electromagnetic wave propagating through a magnetoplasma disturbed by an acoustic wave has been given. The analysis of the modulation of the transmitted and reflected waves from the boundary between the magnetoplasma and free space has also been given. Numerical calculations have been made to study the variation of modulation with electron density, collision frequency, magnetic field, acoustic power and distance from the acoustic wave source.
