Total ionization and dissociative attachment cross-sections of boron trifluoride by electron impact

The absolute total ionization from 16-250 eV and dissociative attachment cross-sections from 10-13 eV have been measured for the boron trifluoride molecule by using a parallel plate condenser type ionization chamber. The maximum of the ionization curve was found to be 5.57*10<sup>-20</sup> m<sup>2</sup> at an energy of 140 eV while for attachment the maximum value was 2.56*10<sup>-22</sup> m<sup>2</sup> at 11.5 eV. The maximum relative error in cross-section values was 0.06.
