| dc.description | A cheap, accurate and extremely flexible dynamometer is described which has been used for measuring mixing torques from 5×10<sup>−3</sup> to 2 N m. The main advance over other dynamometers is the use of a combined thrust and journal air bearing which supports the mixing vessel and is almost frictionless. |
