| dc.description | Describes a novel method for determining the thermal product ( rho ck)<sup>1/2</sup> for thin film or surface thermocouple type heat transfer gauges. The method utilises optical technique using a known power laser. The values of ( rho ck)<sup>1/2</sup> so obtained compare favourably with those obtained by previous investigators. |
