Teaching physics and the nature of science together: a case study

This article describes and evalutes an attempt to teach about some physics (Brownian motion) and simultaneously to draw out lessons about the nature of science. The students involved were on a teacher training course. The tasks are outlined and the students' responses from a questionnaire are summarized and analysed.
