The velocity distribution of the electrons in an electron cyclotron resonance plasma has been measured by three methods: bremsstrahlung intensity, bremsstrahlung polarization, and Langmuir probe characteristics. These diagnostics are useful in that they do not greatly perturb the plasma. Various anisotropic velocity distributions were used in theoretical calculations for all three methods in an attempt to determine the actual distribution. For this experiment, a 2 temperature loss-cone distribution gives the best fit to the data.
