Due to the variation of laser intensity across the focal spot in a laser-solid target interaction experiment, the shock and deflagration structure produced will be two-dimensional. Flow profiles resulting from this effect are calculated for cases when the deflagration is thin. It is found that steady flow structures with the shock detached or attached to the deflagration may occur. Detailed profiles for the attached case are presented.
