The Mossbauer spectrum model was proposed in order to obtain a better understanding of the iron atom 'states' in a supersaturated Cu-Fe solid solution and their changes during the gamma Fe precipitation process and growth of this phase. The model is related to the atomic structure of this alloy. The model was tested for several supersaturated Cu-Fe alloys with different iron concentrations and for a supersaturated Cu-2.4% at.% Fe alloy which was also annealed at 873K for 0.3 ks and for 1.8 ks.
