Using a value of -64.8(1.3) T for the hyperfine field at tantalum in iron, the results of a previous NMR-ON experiment on ¹⁸³TaFe are analysed to give the Knight shift at tantalum in iron as K=-0.036(22). The same value of the hyperfine field is used to re-evaluate the nuclear g factors of the ground states of ¹⁸²Ta and ¹⁸³Ta.
