Phonon dispersion relations in iron-based FCC alloys

Аннотация:
The phonon dispersion relations for the FCC cubic alloys Fe<sub>0.7</sub>Ni<sub>0.3</sub>, Fe<sub>0.5</sub>Ni<sub>0.5</sub>, Fe<sub>0.25</sub>Ni<sub>0.75</sub> and Fe<sub>0.72</sub>Ni<sub>0.28</sub> have been investigated using an angular force model. The theoretical results are found to be in good agreement with the experiment. An inference is drawn that in these alloys there is no disorder or clustering effect.
