A theoretical two-dimensional surface of angular correlation of positron-annihilation radiation (ACAR) in Cu is calculated by the APW method and is compared with the corresponding experimental data obtained by a multidetector ACAR apparatus. The agreement between theory and experiment is reasonable; deviations are attributed to positron-electron many-body effects.
