Investigations of the hard beta radiation from <sup>252</sup>Cf fission

Investigations of the hard part of the beta spectrum (E>10 MeV) from <sup>252</sup>Cf fission fragments have been carried out in the underground laboratory. The upper limit on the number of electrons as a function of their energy is obtained. This value for E>20 MeV is shown to be 2*10<sup>-8</sup> beta /fission. The limits on the yield of light nuclei in fission are calculated from the results of these measurements.
