Studies angular distributions of the hadronic energy released in muon (electron)-nucleon deep inelastic scattering, to the first order in perturbative QCD, over a conveniently extended phase-space region, namely from SPS accelerator energies where the quark content of the target dominates, to the expected HERA regime where the gluonic component is proved the most important.
