Effect of nuclear compressibility and matching terms on the reaction <sup>11</sup>B(<sup>16</sup>O, <sup>15</sup>N)<sup>12</sup>C

The effect of nuclear compressibility on the form factors and differential cross sections is studied using a density-dependent interaction. The form factors decrease with increasing compressibility. The strong absorption model is applied to show the effect of matching terms on the differential cross sections. Without matching terms the best fit to the experimental data is obtained with a compressibility parameter of two, while the matching terms improve the fit at large angles and give better fits than those of the DWBA.
