| dc.description | The neutron total cross section of scandium oxide has been measured from 0.0015 eV to 5000 eV. A resonance in scandium was observed at (3600±200) eV, with Γ similar 180 eV, and at lower energies the cross section varied in a way which could be explained by the existence of a level with parameters E<sub>1</sub> = - (130±30) eV, Γ<sub>n</sub><sup>0</sup>=(0.84±0.25) eV and Γ<sub>a</sub>=(0.25±0.1) eV. |
