| dc.description | The energy spectra of the protons emitted from a phosphorus target when bombarded by 8.9 MeV deuterons have been measured by magnetic analysis and a number of levels not previously reported have been observed. The angular distributions of 17 proton groups have been measured, and in most cases these have been fitted with theoretical stripping curves enabling parity and possible spin assignments to be made to some states of <sup>32</sup>P. Seven of these angular distributions show a dip below the Butler stripping curve at small angles, but otherwise correspond to l=1 transitions. |
