| dc.description | The problem is formulated in terms of the radial exchange equations. The Schwinger method, with polynomial trial functions, is used to calculate the scattering length. With 3-term polynomials one obtains Λ<sup>+</sup> = -9.72, Λ<sup>-</sup> = -2.35 compared with Λ<sup>+</sup> = -8.095, Λ<sup>-</sup> = -2.350 from exact numerical integrations. |
