| dc.description | A two-day conference on electron probe microanalysis was held at Reading in September 1963. The topics discussed included new instrumental developments, in particular of X-ray spectrometers, and the analysis of light elements. These sessions are reported in the Journal of Scientific Instruments. This survey covers the sessions on the interpretation of quantitative measurements and the application of the method. A list of the twenty-one papers presented is included. |
