The effect of a ferromagnetic inclusion on the surrounding magnetization in an evaporated iron film is examined by transmission electron microscopy; the inclusion acts as a centre of high permeability producing 90° domain walls. The micrographs also show the change in domain structure as a 180° domain wall passes over the inclusion. |
