| dc.description | Coaxial-line equipment has been constructed to measure a wide range of permittivities of liquids in the wavelength range 4 to 50 cm. Several alternative ways of using the apparatus are given, and two types of liquid cell are described. The apparatus has been used mainly for medium-loss but also for high-loss liquids. For very low-loss liquids the accuracy is low and cavity methods are essential. |
