A laboratory standard d.c. voltmeter (12 in scale, 0.1% accuracy) has been converted into a multi-range voltmeter and ammeter with full-scale ranges from 0.15 V to 750 V and from 0.005 A to 30 A. A manual temperature compensation technique reduces the temperature coefficient to less than 0.01% per 1° C on all ranges.
