A description is given of an a.c. bridge balance indicator in which two separate indications are provided. Each indication is related to a particular bridge balancing control and provides information on the magnitude of the unbalance and indicates the direction in which the control must be varied to approach balance. Inherent signal-to-noise ratio improvement is a feature of the display.
