| dc.description | A prototype diode mount has been developed which permits operation at liquid nitrogen temperatures and at frequencies up to 10000 Mc/s. Cooling is achieved by a Joule-Thomson cooler and the complete device is 3 in. long and 1 in. in diameter, and connects direct to conventional 50 Ω systems. |
