| dc.description | The use of ratemeters in time-dependent systems is discussed together with the need for correction of response time distortion in such systems. The differential equation describing changes in a linear RC system is developed and the solutions of this equation for several input functions are given. The experimental determination of the time constant value is described and comparisons made between the computed and recorded outputs for the several input functions. |
