A system for the transformation of a usual creep machine into a low-frequency sinusoidal fatigue machine in tension (20 cycles per minute at the maximum) is described. In this system the usual fixed weight on the loading lever is replaced by a rotating axis around which two horizontal arms turn with different weights at their ends. The load on the test sample is calculated taking account of the inertia effects.
