A mechanical system is described for drawing the continuous product of two curves, for example a spectral profile on a recorder chart and a spectral correction curve. It may also be used to produce the required correction curve. By clamping one of the inputs, it may be used to normalize and superimpose a series of profiles. Other applications are suggested.
