| dc.description | A particle-size sensor has been developed to correct for particle-size effects in the X-ray fluorescence analysis of slurries. It uses the absorption of X rays of different energies and gives an output independent of flow rate or solid concentration. Its performance is briefly examined and a method of reducing its dependence on solid composition suggested. |
