Magnetic properties of pure and Fe-doped Y<sub>1</sub>Ba<sub>2</sub>Cu<sub>3</sub>O<sub>7- delta </sub> superconductors above T<sub>c</sub> and at magnetic fields up to 5.5 T

The authors report on studies of high magnetic field properties of Y<sub>1</sub>Ba<sub>2</sub>Cu<sub>3-x</sub>Fe<sub>x</sub>O<sub>7- delta </sub> ceramics (x=0-0.1) around T<sub>c</sub>. The total magnetic moment below T<sub>c</sub> is a superposition of the diamagnetic and paramagnetic moments. The paramagnetic moment is a linear function of the concentration of Fe and is not affected by possible antiferromagnetic coupling between Fe moments and induced Cu moments.
