The results of a study of anisotropy in the transport critical current (Ic), at 77K, under a magnetic field for textured Ag-(Bi Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox tapes as a function of two separate angular rotation sequences, are presented. The measurements show that for a given magnetic field both of the angular rotation sequences give identical values for Ic( mu OH) versus the angle of rotation and the above function can be fitted by the mod cos( phi , psi ) mod - alpha , where the scaling parameter alpha is a function of the magnetic field and the microstructure of the tapes. The influence of the relaxation of the trapped magnetic flux on Ic mod mod H and Ic perpendicular to H is presented.
